A Bold Brew with Purpose

This vibrant coffee hails from the lush hills of Salgar, Antioquia, and comes to life thanks to The Green Coffee Company (GCC)—Colombia’s largest coffee farm. Since 2017, GCC has been on a mission to raise the bar for Colombian coffee, combining innovation, sustainability, and a whole lot of passion.

And the taste? It's a real standout. Expect smooth milk chocolate and rich caramel notes, rounded out by a fresh green apple zing. It’s cosy, crisp, and just the right amount of sweet.

From Bean to Brew, With Care

GCC’s approach goes way beyond great flavour. They’ve transformed former cattle land into over 2,000,000 thriving coffee trees (Castillo and Colombia varieties), planted more than 26,000 native trees to protect the local watershed, and manage 153 hectares of dedicated forest reserve. They’ve even removed plastics from their nurseries to keep things clean and green.

The farms span a whopping 4,000 hectares, formed by uniting 40 smaller farms. With full control over every stage—from planting to processing—they’ve invested heavily in tech, including two wet mills that can process 360,000kg of cherry per day. Smart tech like cherry colour sorters and electronic tracking helps them reduce water use by over 21 million litres.

People at the Heart

GCC employs over 400 people year-round, offering stable jobs, pension programs, and equal opportunities. Around 27% of the workforce is women, and the company actively supports leadership roles for women and single mothers in the local community.
