This exceptional organic Arabica coffee is grown in the lush, biodiverse Intag Valley, famous for its coffee production. The valley’s tropical and subtropical climate, along with diverse flora, fauna, and microclimates, provides optimal conditions for high-altitude coffee, creating a rich depth of flavours.
For generations, the coffee has been cultivated traditionally under native tree shade, with selective harvesting and washed processing that enhance its unique qualities. Produced by a cooperative of 400 families from vibrant local villages, the coffee embodies community and culture. The Rio Intag Agroartisanal Coffee Growers Association (AACRI) was founded in 1998 to improve marketing for small producers. Today, AACRI has over 100 active members who collaborate to enhance production and market presence.
