When Peter Christian, Chris’s favourite clothing brand, approached him to create a signature look, he was thrilled. As our head roaster, Chris is always impeccably dressed. Whether he's roasting premium coffee and stacking hessian sacks or meeting with clients in the afternoon, he values both style and comfort.

 

The exceptional Peter Christian team recently visited our roastery in West Sussex. After catching up over coffee, Chris got on with his usual day, donning head-to-toe Peter Christian garments. He felt confident and ready to tackle the day, with his favourite piece being the waistcoat, which allowed him to roast comfortably while looking incredibly smart.

It was a fantastic experience having the Peter Christian team at EDGE. This collaboration feels so natural, given Chris’s long-standing admiration for the brand. Peter Christian’s expertise in fine gentlemen’s wear, spanning several generations, mirrors our own family-focused approach here at EDGE Tea & Coffee.

Nick Alderton, known as Lord Trousers and owner of Peter Christian, and a good friend of Chris, joined us in the afternoon for a brew. Lord Trousers remarked, "Chris is a masterful coffee roaster; the care, skill, and experience he brings to his craft are evident in every cup. My personal favourite is the Kenyan Peaberry coffee, and for tea, I always choose his Rusper blend. I don't believe in compromising, so I enjoy both at home and at work."
