This bean is naturally sweet in flavour with hints of currants and tropical fruits which contributes to the coffees long lasting aroma. Sidamo, in which this coffee comes from, is washed and dried on raised beds at the farm between November – February.
The beans are also grown in altitudes between 1,900-2,300 above sea level within the mountains contributing towards their long and sweet finish.
A medium roast will release the intricate taste notes of this bean.

Q GRADE: 90
98% of Ethiopian coffee (of which our Sidamo also belongs to) is planted by small coffee farms, whose farms are no longer than a hectare. This makes it possible for the farmers to take more precise care of their plantation. This is later noticeable with the aroma the coffee gives off in your cup.
