☕FILTERED COFFEE . . We often get asked “How is single origin coffee best brewed?” Single origin coffee is great for all brewing methods, but we will always recommend giving filter a try. . . Pour the hot water over the coffee grounds and let the water navigate it’s way through the grounds, absorbing every taste note. It is a slower method of brewing, resulting in a smooth and flavoursome coffee. You may be surprised to know that the filter method does not result in an ‘intense’ cup. Instead, it produces a well-balanced, lighter coffee that is rich in flavour. . . Got any questions about the filter method? Drop them below! 🤩FIRST LOOK . . We are so super excited to show you the first images of our new Giesen W30 Coffee Roaster, which we have named Wolfie. Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine designing this huge, orange (Yes, very orange!) beauty. Here are the first stages of its journey through the factory where the various parts of Wolfie were making their way through the paint shop. . . Think of it much like an episode of Grand Designs. Lots of drawings, negotiations, big ideas and even bigger dreams. The Giesen team, over in the Netherlands, are working away to make this dream become a reality for us. But you know what this means…we’ll be roasting a helluva lot more coffee! Our current Giesen W15 looks like a kid sister next to it! . . Each Giesen machine is handbuilt from scratch at their Dutch factory by skilled craftsman. Using the highest quality materials and cutting edge coffee roasting technology, @giesencoffeeroasters really are setting the bar high for the future of coffee roasting.
