A traditional Chinese tea using the same leaves as black and green tea but only partially oxidised. These semi-fermented teas are tasty and refreshing with a similar caffeine level to green teas. Oolong tea packs a punch – the process is complex with laborious hand-rolling to give it its distinctive shape and flavours.The literal translation of oolong is ‘black dragon’ for the way the tea dances in water like a dragon!
